Embrace Western New York is dedicated to equality and fairness within Western New York and seeks to raise awareness, understanding and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community amongst all citizens. Our Mission: through education all things are possible. Our Goals: to educate and support individuals and local organizations working towards equality for all New York State residents, especially in the LGBTQ+ community; developing the leadership potential of young adults from under-represented areas; assisting organizations in promoting a positive and affirming position; and strengthening local groups and organizations that are working towards full acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community.   https://embracewny.org

The Pride Center of Western New York, an affiliate of Evergreen Health, is a Buffalo-based 501(c)3 health promotion organization specializing in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) health and HIV prevention. Established in 2001, The Pride Center's goal is to promote the lifelong health and well-being of LGBTQ+ people.  Our office is in Buffalo, but we provide services throughout the eight counties of Western New York State. We’re primarily funded by the NYSDOH - AIDS Institute and our work forms an integral part of the New York State Governor's HIV Strategy - Ending the Epidemic.                                                                              http://www.pridecenterwny.org

The WNY Gay & Lesbian Youth Services or GLYS provides a safe and positive environment for LGBTQ+ youth to learn more about themselves through peer interaction and educational experiences. The organization creates opportunities for emotional growth and community awareness. Through GLYS outreach, other agencies learn about and increase their sensitivity to the needs of gender and sexual minority youth. GLYS provides LGBTQ+ youth with positive role models and safe spaces while promoting positive self-esteem and the integration of these youth into the larger community.
