There are many obstacles & challenges to getting services and treatment for this disease.
We are not alone, and our collective voices can make a difference.
We Have a Voice, We Need to Use It
· Removing barriers to wellness among in the addicted populations.
· Working towards government policies that help people with recovery and post-recovery issues.
· Advocating for access to treatment, reversal of policies that discriminate against people in recovery, and removal of barriers raised by the stigma against addiction.
· Giving voice to those who cannot speak out on their own, including those currently in crisis, those who have died, individuals who are incarcerated or children affected by addiction.
· Promoting Advocacy for Addiction Recovery
